    “Korea Industrial Marketing Institute” (hereinafter ‘Exhibition Office’) values customer privacy and complies with the laws on “Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.” Through its personal information handling policy, the Exhibition Office informs you of how your provided personal information is utilized and what steps are taken to protect it. 

    [Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information]
    a. The Exhibition Office only uses collected personal information for sending exhibition guides, invitations, and newsletters via mail, fax, and email.
    b. The collected data may be shared with the Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association (AKEI) for objective exhibition verification. It is guaranteed that this data will not be used for any purposes other than for exhibition verification.

    a. The Exhibition Office collects necessary personal information through its website for providing services. Users have the liberty to select other optional information.
    - Required items: Name, Affiliation, Email, Mobile Number
    - Optional items: Position
    b. By clicking the “Agree” button on the personal information handling policy or terms of use set by the Exhibition Office, users can show their consent to the collection of personal information. Pressing the “Agree” button is considered as giving consent to collect personal information.

    [Retention and Use Period of Personal Information]
    a. The personal information provided by users will be kept and used by the Exhibition Office for as long as the user avails of the services from the Office.
    b. The personal information of a user will be deleted or destroyed in the following circumstances:
    - When the user no longer wishes to use the service or loses their eligibility
    - When the goal of collecting and using the information is achieved
    c. Despite the conditions above, personal information may be retained if necessary by laws such as the Commercial Act, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., or when there is a need to keep personal information for addressing legal disputes.
